COM—O O R D I N A N C E N O. _�. _`.r�-� til�-�% AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AP— PROVING THE ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF REDWOOD � CITY OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED " HIGHLANDS TERRTTORY NO. 13 " AND HEREIN DESCRIBED, AND HEREIN ANNEXING SAID TERRITORY TO SAID CITY OF RED[�dOOD CTTY THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: WHEREAS, on the 13th day of March , 19 61 , the Council of the City of Redwood City adopted Resolution No. 3326 giving notice of, and declaring its intention to, initiate upon its own motion proceedi.ngs to annex to the City of Redwood City ail of the territory designated as " Highlands Territory No. 13 �� ; and WHEREAS, this Council has received evidence showing, and has found, and again finds, that a written description of the proposal to annex said territory to the City of Redwood City was filed with the Secretary of the Boundary Commission of San Mateo County, California, on ; February 14 , 19 61 , and that said Baundary Commission has prepared, or caused to be prepared, a report on said annexation proposal as required by law, and that said Boundary Commission has approved the boundaries of said proposed annexation; and has received evidence showing, �nd has found, and again finds, that the aforementioned action of the Counc il initiating the an- nexation of the herein described territory, upon its own motion, was not commenced until after said written description of the proposal for said annexation was filed with the Secretary of the San Mateo County Boundary Commiss:_,_�n, and until after said Com- mission made, or caused to be made, its report and approved said boundaries; and WHEREAS, this Council has further received evidence showing, and has found, and again finds: (1) That said territory is situate immediate� adjacent to
