The DTPP established new land use, development, and
urban design regulations for the 183 -acre DTPP area for a 20 -year planning period,
including the potential for construction of up to 500,000 net new office square footage.
The DTPP program Environmental Impact Report (EIR) was certified by the City
Council on January 24, 2011.
CEQA Evaluation of the Project
An Initial Study Checklist (Attachment 7) was prepared to consider whether any new
effects not identified in the DTPP program EIR may be created by the Project. If
approved, the Project would fall within the Maximum Allowable Development of net
office square footage of 500,000 net new square feet. As part of the environmental
review, a transportation impact analysis (TIA) was prepared. The Initial Study
Checklist concludes that the Project would not result in new environmental impacts
beyond those previously identified nor increase the severity of environmental impacts
previously identified in the DTPP program EIR.
MICHELLE LITTLEFIELD
ASSOCIATE PLANNER
AARON AKNIN
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR
AARON AKNIN
INTERIM CITY MANAGER
