7.1.D. - Page 3
FISCAL IMPACT
As negotiations took place before the end of the 2014 -2015 Fiscal Year, PRCS Staff
requested Capital Improvement Project Funds (CIP) for the 2015 -2016 Fiscal Year for
both interior and exterior improvements in the amount of $175,000, which was approved
by City Council. The $75,000 for interior improvements would be primarily for helping
PRCS Staff prepare the facility for recreation programs. The $100,000 for exterior
improvements would be directed to parking lot improvements for the first year. Staff
would then be requesting additional CIP funding over the next two fiscal years to satisfy
to required improvements within the agreement.
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
As proposed, the project is categorically exempt from the requirements of the California
Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines per Section 15302 "Replacement or
Reconstruction" for removal and replacement of existing asphalt paving, and new
landscaping surrounding the building; and Section 15332 "In -Fill Development Projects"
for the construction of additional asphalt paving in the expanded parking lot adjacent to
the building.
g(„7_,
,_
CHRISTOPHER BETH
DIRECTOR
PARKS, RECREATION AND COMMUNITY SERVICES
1:3:zi
AARON AKNIN
INTERIM CITY MANAGER
ATTACHMENTS:
1.
