On August 24t'' 2015 at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter <br /> may be heard, in the City Council Chambers located at 1017 Middlefield Road, <br /> Redwood City, CA 94063, the City Council will hold a public hearing on the proposed <br /> modifications to the MDP. At the public hearing, the City Council will consider all <br /> objections or protests, if any, to the proposed removal of said parcels. Any interested <br /> person may present written or oral testimony at the public hearing. At the conclusion of <br /> the public testimony portion of the public hearing, the City Council may then remove the <br /> said parcels from the District by adopting a resolution to that effect. <br /> Section 3. Aside from the removal of the seven parcels set forth in Section 1 no <br /> change is proposed to the boundaries of the District, the nature of the services provided <br /> by the District, or the assessment rates authorized for the District. If the proposed <br /> modification is approved, the seven parcels will not be subject to an assessment in <br /> connection with the District in Fiscal Year 2015-16 or subsequent fiscal years. <br /> Section 4. The Proposed modification will not increase the assessment against <br /> any person or parcel above the rate previously approved by the City Council following a <br /> balloting proceeding conducted pursuant to Article XIII D, Section 4 of the California <br /> Constitution. <br /> Section 5.
