07/27/2015 <br />requested to conduct the November 3, 2015 election for the City Redwood City, <br />including any elections for officials of the City of Redwood City, as an election <br />conducted by all -mailed mail ballots pursuant to the AB 2028 pilot program, it <br />being understood that the election shall occur wholly by mail on that date and <br />only if all jurisdictions with elections on that date make the same request. <br />SECTION 3. That, in addition to the traditional polling place at City Hall, <br />the City of Redwood City shall offer polling places at the following location(s): <br />Fair Oaks Community Center, Veterans Memorial Senior Center, and the Office <br />of Education at Redwood Shores. <br />SECTION 4. That if all San Mateo County jurisdictions with elections on <br />that date do not so request, the City of Redwood City election shall occur as <br />normal on that date pursuant to the other provisions of the Elections Code. <br />BE IT ADDITIONALLY RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of <br />Redwood is hereby directed to notify the Secretary of State no later than August <br />6, 2015, of the City of Redwood City's intent to conduct an all -mailed ballot <br />election as outlined above with four polling sites in Redwood City by mailing this <br />approved resolution to said Office. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Redwood City City Council <br />shall separately send information regarding the specifics of its November 3, 2015 <br />election to the San Mateo County Chief Elections Officer. <br />Page 3 of 3 <br />ATTY/RESO.3119/CC RESO ASSEMBLY BILL 2028 RESO. # 15435 <br />REV: 07-30-15 PT MUFF # 307 <br />
