07/27/2015 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 15434 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY ADOPTING THE INITIAL STUDY CHECKLIST AND NEGATIVE <br /> DECLARATION FOR MINOR ZONING CODE AMENDMENTS (Phase 1) <br /> WHEREAS, this proposed Phase 1 Zoning Ordinance Amendment is comprised <br /> of three parts: <br /> (a) Repeal Articles 7 (RG — Garden Apartments District), 12 (CA — Central <br /> Administrative District), 21 (AG — Agriculture-Greenhouse District), and 26 <br /> (CBR — Commercial Business Retail District), and amend Article 31 <br /> (Special Uses) to delete Sections 31.3 (Circuses and Carnivals), 31.15 <br /> (Auction Houses), and 31.19 (Temporary Fireworks Sales); <br /> (b) Make miscellaneous procedural and clean up amendments to Articles 4 <br /> (RH — Residential Hillside District), 5 (R-1 — Residential Single-Family <br /> District), 6 (R-2 — Residential Duplex District), 8 (R-3 — Multi-Family Low <br /> Density District), 9 (R-4 — Multi-Family Medium Density District), 10 (R-5 — <br /> Multi-Family High Density District), 18 (IP — Industrial Park District), 20 (TP <br /> — Tidal Plain District), 23 (PF — Public Facilities District), 30 (Off-Street <br /> Parking and Loading), 32 (Supplementary Provisions), and 52 (Planned <br /> Community Permit or P District); and <br /> (c) Amend Article 31 (Special Uses) to delete Sections 31.4, 31.12, and <br /> 31.20, amend Article 32 (Supplementary Provisions) to delete Sections <br /> 32.10 and 32.11, amend Article 36 (Streetscape Provisions) for <br /> reorganizational purposes, and make conforming amendments to Article 2 <br /> (Definitions); and <br /> WHEREAS, on June 17, 2014 the Planning Commission held a public hearing to <br /> hear public testimony and make a recommendation on the proposed amendments and <br /> Initial Study and Negative Declaration; and <br /> WHEREAS, on July 27, 2015, the City Council held a public hearing to consider <br /> the proposed amendments and the Initial Study and Negative Declaration; and <br /> WHEREAS, after the duly noticed public hearing, the City Council considered <br /> and found that the draft Initial Study and Negative Declaration are adequate and comply <br /> with CEQA; and <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> ATTY/RES0.3117/CC RESO FOR NEGATIVE DECLARATION RESO.#15434 <br /> REV:07-20-15 VR MUFF#602 <br />
