PUBLIC COMMENT - None <br /> 4. SUBJECT <br /> A. Study Session for discussion of new City Hall Project - Proposals for conceptual change <br /> orders for additional work over the construction Final Agreed Price. (110) <br /> REPORT: Project Engineer Jones, July 15, 1996 <br /> Engineering Manager Patterson presented the staff report and showed artists renderings <br /> of the new City Hall. Manager Patterson said Council approved a budget for the new City <br /> Hal! of $9 million and the Final Agreed Price was $8,515,614. He explained the staff and <br /> the Facilities Committee recommendations for restoring three items to the original City <br /> Hal! design and budget, and a request for $2,000 for architect and landscape services for <br /> donated artwork to be funded through the almost $500,000 left in the original budget. <br /> The three items staff and the Facilities Committee wish to restore include the east trellis, <br /> granite flooring continued through the entire public concourse, and entrance doors that will <br /> be more functional and aesthetically pleasing. <br />
