You want to investigate whether there is a proportional formula that should be developed or there should be no participation. You will know more when you get a report back and find out how much is involved.... and what the scope of the proposed ErR would be. That is one of the first things you would have to do is look at the scope." MOTION CARRIED BY UNANIMOUS VOICE VOTE. ACQUISITION of 3476-3480 Rolison Road, and DEMOLITION of 3486 Rolison Road and 1181 Haven Avenue; (100) REPORT: Housing Coordinator Jones-Thomas, August 26, 1996 Housing Coordinator Jones-Thomas presented the staff report and using overheads described the properties involved: The Rolison property (3476-3480 Rolison Road) relating to completing acquisition; and the City owned, as a result of foreclosure, the Haven Property ( a corner piece at 1I81 Haven Avenue and 3486 Rolison Road.) The Redevelopment Agency owns five contiguous parcels in the center of the block (the Agency property.) The Agency plans a new development on the Agency property and the City owns the corner piece. The Council can direct staff to include the other two parcels (in between those mentioned) to create a larger development, or opt for rehabilitation. Because the Rolison Property (3476-3480 Rolison) is located between the City and the Agency's properties staff is recommending its acquisition. Coordinator Jones-Thomas stated that "Council has given us clear authority to negotiate for that property, and the owners have accepted that offer ($437,450.)
