<br /> B. The Mayor read Certificates of Appreciation issued to eight businesses and individuals for <br /> their support of the Redwood City K9 program. Through their generosity the City of <br /> Redwood City has two fully trained police K9s, "Dago" and "Teger" who replaced "Aic" <br /> and "KarIo", the two K9s who retired this year. <br /> Mayor Hartnett presented a Certificate to Marty Cooper and Patrick Vandenbroeck from <br /> Safeway of Sequoia Station, and thanked them for participating in a community partnership <br /> that brought two fully trained K9s to Redwood City and peace of mind to its residents and <br /> businesses. Mayor Hartnett also recognized Towne Ford, First American Title, 7-Ereven, <br /> Century 12 Theaters, Harry's Hof Brau, Target Stores, and Adrian Dioli. Mr. <br /> Vandenbroeck thanked the Council for the opportunity to be a part of such a great program, <br /> and expressed confidence in "Dago" and "Teger" that the people of Redwood City were <br /> being well served. Officer Sheffield and his K9 "Dago" also witnessed and approved of the <br /> Council's recognition of citizen support for the K9 program in Redwood City. <br /> _n__________n______----------------------------------------------------------------------------------______n____------ <br /> 2.
