EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> Consultant will provide thorough, accurate and professional services both On-Site at <br /> the City of Redwood City offices and Off-Site as follows: <br /> Plan Review Services: <br /> Consultant will perform plan review services as directed by the City of Redwood City <br /> Building Official or his/her designee. All plan review services provided by the <br /> Consultant will include the initial plan review and all subsequent re-reviews as <br /> necessary for building permit issuance. <br /> Permit plans and documentation for Off-Site plan review will be picked up by the <br /> Consultant messengers or will be shipped to their main ofFice using the Consultant's <br /> established account. All costs for pickup or delivery will be included in plan review <br /> fee and no additional compensation will be provided. <br /> Off-Site plan reviews will be completed within 10-working days from the date that <br /> Consultant receives plans. Written plan review comments will be delivered to the City <br /> in electronic format within 24 hours of completion of review. When final review is <br /> approved, Consultant will deliver two final sets of approved plans with approval <br /> stamps and signatures to the city within 24 hours of final review and approval. <br /> The City may request a bid for specific plan review services and those plan review <br /> services will be governed by a different agreement and will not fall within the scope of <br /> this agreement. <br /> Buildinq Insaection Services: <br /> Consultant will perform building and public works inspection services for a specified <br /> number of hours as directed by the City of Redwood City Chief Building official or City <br /> Building and Safety Division designee. These services will include review of all <br /> approved plans, specifications and documents, review and respond to all inspection <br /> requests and reports, attend mandatory meetings, including safety training and project <br /> management perform inspections for compliance to applicable State of Califomia <br /> Building, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire codes, as well as State energy <br /> efficiency and accessibility standards as amended by the City of Redwood City. <br /> Consultant's services may include a State of Califomia registered Fire Protection <br /> Engineer, to complete all Fire Code inspection services requested by the City, or <br /> CASp certified inspections as directed by the City of Redwood City Building Official or <br /> his/her designee. <br /> Permittina Services: <br /> Consultant will perForm permitting process services for a specified number of hours as <br /> directed by the City of Redwood City Building Official or his/her designee.
