EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> Scooe of Services: <br /> Consultant will provide thorough, accurate and professional services both On-Site at <br /> the City of Redwood City offices and Off-Site as follows: <br /> Plan ReviewServices: <br /> Consultant will perForm plan review services for a speci�ed number of hours as directed <br /> by the City of Redwood City Building 4fficial or his/her designee. All plan review <br /> services provided by Consultant will include the initial plan review and all subsequent <br /> re-reviews as necessary for building permit issuance. <br /> Permit plans and documentatian for Off-Site plan review will be picked up by the <br /> Consultant's messengers or will be shipped to their main office using the Consultant's <br /> established account. All costs for pickup or delivery will be included in plan review <br /> fee and no addition compensation will be provided. <br /> Off-Site plan reviews will be completed within 10 working days for most projects and <br /> 15 working days for new multi-family and new, large commercial construction from the <br /> date that Consultant receives plans. Written plan review comments will be delivered <br /> to the City in electronic format within 24 hours of completion of review. When final <br /> review is approved, Consultant will deliver two final sets of approved plans with <br /> approval stamps and signatures to the city within 24 hours of final review and <br /> approval. <br /> The City may request a bid for specific plan review services and those plan review <br /> services will be gover-ned by a different agreement and will not fall within the scope of <br /> this agreement. <br /> Building Insoection Services: <br /> Consultant will perForm building and public works inspection services for a specified <br /> number of hours as directed by the City af Redwood City Building Official or his/her <br /> designee. These services will include review of all approved plans, specifications and <br /> documents, review and respond to all inspection requests and reports, attend <br /> mandatory meetings, including safety training and project management perform <br /> inspections for compliance to applicable State of Califomia Building, Mechanical, <br /> Electrical, Plumbing, Fire codes, as well as State energy efficiency and accessibility <br /> standards as amended by the City of Redwood City. ConsultanYs services may include <br /> a State of California registered Fire Protection Engineer, to complete all Fire Code <br /> inspection services requested by the City, or CASp certified inspections as directed by <br /> the City of Redwood City Building Official or his/her designee. <br /> Permitting Services: <br /> Consultant will perform permitting services for a specified number of hours as directed <br /> by the City of Redwood City Building Official or his/her designee.
