ANNEXATION �� AND HEREIN DESCRTBED, 1��ND HEREIN A XING 5AID TERRTTORY TO SAID CITY OF REDWOOD CITY THE COUNC IL OF RE,7WOOD C I'I''Y DOES ORDAIN AS FOZLOWS: WHEREAS, on the lst day of October , 19 62 , the Council of the City of Redwood City adopted Resoltttion No. 3819 giving notice of, and declaring its intention to, initiate upon its own motion proceedings to annex to the City of Redwood City all o£ the territory designated as 'r Barbour Annexation �� . � and _ WHEREAS, this Council has received evidence showing, and has found, and again finds, that a written description of the proposal to annex said territory to the City of Redwood City was filed with the Secretary of the Boundary Commission of San Mateo County, California, on September 11 , 19 62 , and that said Boundary Commission has prepared, or caused to be prepared, a report on said annexation proposal as required by law, and that said Boundary Commission has approvec? the boundaries of said proposed annexation; and has received evidence showing, and has found, and agai.n finds, that tlze aforementioned a.ction of the Council initiating the an- nexation of the herein described territory, upon its own motion, was not commenced until after said written descriptio;� of the proposal for said annexation was f iled with the Secretary of the San Mateo County Soundary Commiss.' .�n, and until after said Coin- mission mad�e, or caused to be made, its report and approved said boundaries; and WHEREAS, th�s Council has further reeeived evidence show�ng, and has found, and again €inds: (1) That said territory is situate immediatel� adjacent to s,r� .;�> � _�•,i �
