(d) Every roof sign shall be so located on the roof as to <br /> permit unobstructed access, by an opening of at least four feet <br /> by four feet, (1) around one end of the sign, or (2) under the <br /> sign, or (3) through the sign. <br /> Section 3.24 Combination signs shall not exceed 150 square <br /> feet in area. <br /> Section 3 .25 (a) Every combination sign constructed <br /> partially above the roof of a building or structure shall comply <br /> with the requirements of Section 3.21. <br /> (b) Every com»ination sign partially supported by poles <br /> anchored in the ground or directly upon the ground shall comply <br /> with the requirements of Section 3.16(a) . <br /> (c) Except as provided in Section 3 .10, combination signs <br /> shall have a minimum clearance of eight feet between the bottom <br /> of the sign and the ground or paved surface immediately below the <br /> s ign. <br /> Section 3 .26 The provisions of this article shall not be <br /> construed as permitting any sign to have an area larger than the <br /> maximum aggregate area permitted on any parcel pursuant to <br /> Article 5 or as relieving any person from complying with any <br /> provision of this ordinance which is more restrictive than those <br /> contained in this article . <br /> ARTICLE 4 <br /> DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION <br /> Section 4 .1 Al1 signs shall be designed and constructed to <br /> resist wind and seismic forces as specif ied in this article . <br /> Al1 bracing systems shall be designed and constructed to <br /> transfer lateral forces to the foundations.
