�., '� r . <br /> , � <br /> Section 10.3 The period specified in Section 10.1 may be <br /> extended by motion af the City Council for an additional period <br /> not to exceed ten years upon application of the person maintaining <br /> such sign if the Council finds that such an extension is necessary <br /> for the preservation of substantial property rights of the <br /> applicant. The application for the extension shall be made in <br /> writing on forms provided by the Building Inspector and shall be <br /> filed with the C ity Clerk within ten days after expiration of the <br /> period spec if ied in Sect ion 10.1. <br /> Section 10.4 If the provisions of Section 10.1 are not com- <br /> plied with, the Building Inspector shall cause the nonconforming <br /> sign to be removed and the cost thereof shall be charged to the <br /> owner or tenant. <br /> ARTICLE 11 <br /> APPEALS AND ENFORCEMENT <br /> Section 11.1 The provisions of this ordinance shall be <br /> administered and enforced by the Buildin�g Inspector of the City <br /> of Redwood City and his authorized representatives. All other <br /> officers and employees of the City shall assist and cooperate <br /> with the Building Inspectar in administering and enforcing the <br /> provisions of this ordinance . <br /> Section 11.2 Any permit issued under the terms of this <br /> ordinance may be revoked by the Buil.ding Inspector when it ap- <br /> pears that the sign has been erected or maintained in violation <br /> of the provisions of this ordinance or any other ordinance or <br /> law. No such permit shall be revoked until a hearing sha11 have <br /> been held by the Building Inspector. Written notice of the time <br /> and place of such hearing shall be given by the Build ing Inspector <br /> -26- <br />
