This subdivision shall not be ap- <br /> plicable to signs painted directly an buildings. <br /> (d) A statement by the applicant that the written consent of <br /> the owner or tenant of the building, structu re, or land <br /> to which the sign is to be attached or on which the <br /> sign is to be erected has been obtained if applicant <br /> is not the owner of the property. <br /> (e) Copy of stress sheets and calculations showing that the <br /> sign is designed for dead load and wi:nd pressure in any <br /> direction in the amount required by this ordinance <br /> shall be furnished to the Buildi.ng Inspector in every <br /> case where he determines that such stress sheets and <br /> calculations are necessary in order for him to ascer- <br /> tain that the proposed erection will be safe. The <br /> Building Inspector may require that such data be <br /> prepared by a civil or structural engineer licensed <br /> in the State of California. <br /> (f) Such other information as the Building Inspector deems <br /> necessary to show full compliance with this and all <br /> other laws and ordinances. <br /> Section 2 .3 . Every application for a sign permit shall be <br /> accompanied by a nonrefundable fee based upon the total monetary . <br /> valuation of said sign, including the cost of installation, and <br /> shall be the same as are required for a building permit, as <br /> designated by the Building Code of the City of Redwood City as <br /> now enacted or as it may from time to time be amended or reenacted. <br /> If a sign is erected or altered prior to obtaining a sign <br /> permit as required by this ordinance, the permit fees sha].1 be <br /> doubled, but the payment of such double fee shall not relieve <br /> any person from complying with all other provisions of this <br /> ordinance nor from ].iability to any penalties prescribed herein. <br /> Sect�on 2.4 Repainting of signs, or the changing of ad- <br /> vertising copy thereon, shall not be considered an alteration <br /> -5- <br />
