CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL – Council Members Aguirre, Bain, Foust, Howard, Seybert and <br />Mayor Gee present. Council Member Pierce was absent. <br /> <br />Staff present: Assistant City Manager Ramberg, Acting City Attorney Leon Guerrero, <br /> City Clerk Vonderlinden, Deputy City Clerk Wong, Police Chief Gamez, <br />Fire Chief Skinner, Public Works Director Chinnakotla, Assistant Public <br />Works Director Kyaw, Captain Spicer, Planning Manager Turner, Public <br />Works Superintendent Chaplin, <br /> <br />Others present: Senior Affairs Commissioner James <br /> <br />3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE - Alicia C. Aguirre, Council Member <br /> <br />Mayor Gee noted that since this is a Town Hall meeting there are no action items and <br />that the City Council is here to listen. He said that anyone wishing to speak should fill <br />out a speakers’ card and give it to City Clerk. Mayor Gee noted that last year, the <br />Council held two Town Hall meetings in Redwood Shores and North Fair Oaks and as <br />there are many neighborhoods in the city, the Council will continue to have more Town <br />Hall meetings within the community. <br /> <br />Mayor Gee invited Assistant City Manager Ramberg to share some highlights of things <br />going on in the Redwood City. Ms. Ramberg provided an update within the framework <br />of the city’s recently updated and adopted Strategic Plan – community building, <br />communication, government operations, public safety, and community for all ages, <br />economic development and transportation.
