ATTACHMENT 2 <br />ATTY/RESO.3124/CC RESO AUTHORIZING EXAMINATION OF BOE RECORDS <br />REV: 08-18-15 PT <br />Page 3 of 3 <br />The contract between the City and Muniservices, LLC designated by the City to <br />request information from the BOE, shall be subject to the following limitations (Rev <br />& Tax. Code, § 42103, subd. (g)): <br />a. Muniservices, LLC shall, to the same extent as the BOE, be subject to <br />Section 55381, relating to unlawful disclosures; and <br /> <br />b. The contract between the City and Muniservices, LLC shall not provide, <br />in whole or in part, in any manner a contingent fee arrangement as <br />payment for services rendered. <br />Section 4. The information obtained by examination of the BOE records <br />shall only be used for purposes related to the collection of the City’s prepaid mobile <br />telephony services surcharge and local charges by the BOE pursuant to the <br />contract between the City and BOE, or for purposes related to other governmental <br />functions of the City, as identified above in section 2. <br />Section 5. In accordance with Section 51.5 of the Charter of the City of <br />Redwood City, this resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption. <br /> <br />* * * <br /> <br />6.3.B. - Page 8
