<br />Page 7 of 41 <br />ATTY/ORD.411/ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS <br />REV: 07-20-15 VR <br /> <br />C. Combination Solid/Open Fence. Fence which incorporates both solid and open <br />fences whereby the solid portion is no higher than three (3) feet. <br /> <br />D. Decorative Fence. Fence which has a distinctive style, trim, color, or design, <br />which matches or to some degree complements the existing residence. It may be <br />open or solid. A decorative fence shall have the following characteristics: <br /> <br />1. The fence is constructed of material which matches or complements the <br />architecture of the residence and its surroundings. The materials may include <br />but not be limited to, wrought iron, brick, wood, stone, or a combination <br />thereof. <br />2. The fence is painted, stained, or is a natural color which is compatible to the <br />residence. <br />3. The fence may have a distinctive cap, trim, or design which distinguishes it <br />from the more typical wall board design. <br /> <br />Trellis (also see Arbor). An accessory structure that is attached to a main or accessory <br />building, and that is substantially open to the passage of light and air on all sides that do <br />not abut a main or accessory building, and that has a roof of typical lattice or a roof that <br />is not less than sixty (60) percent open to the sky at any point across the entire <br />structure.
