REPORTER'S TRANSCRIPT OF PROCEEDINGS TAKEN 5-24-04
1 tabs on them as it goes along.
( 2 I have one question, I don't understand
3 what will happen in the event, let's say, phase 2
4 comes in and you don't have the water supply.
5 Currently they tell us we're running a thousand
6 acre feet shy of our supply, we are obviously
7 getting extra water from somewhere, I presume from
8 some of the other communities, that's fine and
9 dandy. But with the increase in projects
10 throughout the area, we're not going to be able to
11 get that.
12 And the projection I read was that by 19 --
13 by 2010' you expect the conservation measures and
(
14 the recycling of water to increase or decrease our
15 demand by 1,900 acre feet. However, we're now at a
16 thousand square acre feet shy, so that means we're
17 only going to get a net of about 979 feet -- acre
18 feet per year.
19 So I don't quite - - the figures don't quite
20 add up to me. And that's -- as I said, as the
21 project goes on, I know that it has to be in
22 increments and that you will be reviewing it at
23 each step. I hope that you will - - I urge you to
24 take very close - - pay attention to that, so that
\ 25 the rest of the Redwood City residents don't have
UCCELLI & ASSOCIATES 136
(650) 952-0774
.'-
