Award Contract for Parking Access and Revenue Control System <br /> Upgrade <br /> Staff contact: Jessica Manzi, Senior Transportation Coordinator 780-7372 <br /> jmanzi @redwoodcity.org <br /> Recommendation: <br /> By motion, <br /> 1) Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute a Master Agreement <br /> with Scheidt & Bachmann USA to provide acquisition and installation of a <br /> Parking Access and Revenue Control System (PARCS) for the Marshall and <br /> Jefferson Garages for an amount not to exceed $706,690.63; <br /> 2) Authorize the City Manager to purchase extended warranty and <br /> maintenance services with Scheidt & Bachmann USA, following the original <br /> 3-year warranty, annually, for up to ten years for a total amount not to <br /> exceed $292,833.33; <br /> 3) Authorize the City Manager to increase the contract amount, if necessary, <br /> by up to 10% of the original contract amount, and <br /> 4) Confirm the determination that the Project is exempt from the provisions <br /> of CEQA (California Environmental Quality Act). <br /> C.
