Does the project have environmental effects <br />which will cause substantial adverse effects <br />on human beings, either directly or indirectly? <br /> 1-14 <br /> <br />4.18.1 Project Impacts <br /> <br />As described in the specific sections of this Initial Study (refer to Section 4.0 Environmental Setting, <br />Checklist, and Discussion of Impacts, Sections 4.1-4.17), the proposed project would not result in <br />significant environmental impacts. The project would not degrade the quality of the environment, <br />substantially reduce the habitat of a fish or wildlife species, cause a fish or wildlife population to <br />drop below self-sustaining levels, threaten a plant or animal community, reduce the number or <br />restrict the range of a rare or endangered plant or animal or eliminate important examples of the <br />major periods of California history or prehistory. <br /> <br />4.18.2 Cumulative Impacts <br /> <br />Several of the environmental issues addressed in the previous sections of this Initial Study, such as <br />air quality and greenhouse gas emissions, are assessments of a project’s contribution to cumulative <br />effects on either a regional or global basis. These effects were found to b e insignificant. There are <br />no pending projects in the area that together with the proposed project will result in a cumulative <br />impact. <br />8.A. - Page 92
