Award Contract for Parking Access and Revenue Control System <br />Upgrade <br /> <br /> Staff contact: Jessica Manzi, Senior Transportation Coordinator 780-7372 <br />jmanzi@redwoodcity.org <br /> <br /> Recommendation: <br /> By motion, <br />1) Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute a Master Agreement <br />with Scheidt & Bachmann USA to provide acquisition and installation of a <br />Parking Access and Revenue Control System (PARCS) for the Marshall and <br />Jefferson Garages for an amount not to exceed $706,690.63; <br />2) Authorize the City Manager to purchase extended warranty and <br />maintenance services with Scheidt & Bachmann USA, following the original <br />3-year warranty, annually, for up to ten years for a total amount not to <br />exceed $292,833.33; <br />3) Authorize the City Manager to increase the contract amount, if necessary, <br />by up to 10% of the original contract amount, and <br />4) Confirm the determination that the Project is exempt from the provisions <br />of CEQA (California Environmental Quality Act). <br /> <br /> C.
