<br />2 <br /> <br />Initial Study / Negative Declaration <br /> <br />LII Zoning Amendment <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Purpose of the Document <br />This Initial Study/ Negative Declaration is a public document that assesses the potential environmental effects of <br />the Light Industrial Incubator Zoning Amendment Project as required by the California Environmental Quality Act <br />(CEQA) and in compliance with the State CEQA Guidelines (14 California Code of Regulations 15000 et seq.). <br /> <br />It serves as an information document to be used in the local planning and decision-making process; it does not <br />recommend approval or denial of the project. The City of Redwood City (City), the state Lead Agency for the <br />project under CEQA, must evaluate the environmental effects of the project when considering whether to approve <br />it.
