Council discussion; <br /> <br /> Recommendation: <br /> Hold a public hearing and adopt a Resolution: <br />1. Adopting the Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration for the <br />sports lighting part of the Red Morton Park Synthetic Turf and Tennis Court <br />Renovation Project and finding that the non-sports-lighting part of the Red <br />Morton Park Synthetic Turf and Tennis Court Renovation Project is <br />categorically exempt under the California Environmental Quality Act, and <br />2. Authorizing the City Manager to execute the contract documents and <br />award the standard form contract 00520 for the Red Morton Park Synthetic <br />Turf and Tennis Court Renovation Project to O.C. Jones & Sons, Inc. of <br />Berkeley, CA for their responsive and responsible low base bid of <br />$4,441,700.00; and, authorizing the City Manager to execute an amendment <br />to increase the contract amount, if necessary, up to 10% of the amount <br />awarded. <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />ADOPTING AN INITIAL STUDY/MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br />THE SPORTS LIGHTING PART OF THE RED MORTON PARK SYNTHETIC <br />TURF AND TENNIS COURT RENOVATION PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE CONTRACT AND AWARD THE RED <br />MORTON PARK SYNTHETIC TURF AND TENNIS COURT RENOVATION <br />PROJECT TO O.C.
