Background <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />City previously approved a nine-lot residential subdivision with portions of homes <br />and associated impervious surfaces located within the 25’ creek protection <br />setback. <br /> <br />Friends of Cordilleras Creek challenged the EIR and project approvals in court. <br /> <br />San Mateo County Superior Court: <br />1.Upheld the certification of the Finger Avenue EIR <br />2.Required City to rescind project approvals <br /> <br />Applicant resubmitted amended application for a nine-lot residential subdivision. <br /> <br />Planning Commission considered the nine-lot plan, and recommended: <br />1.That the 25’ creek protection setback be respected <br />2.That the number of PD setback modifications be reduced/eliminated <br />3.That the guest parking be dispersed throughout the project site <br />4.That an eight-lot alternative would best achieve these goals <br /> <br />Applicant resubmitted amended application for an eight-lot residential subdivision.
