Offices - Business, Government, and Professional <br />(Land Use). Offices of firms, individuals, or <br />organizations that provide professional, <br />executive, management, or administrative <br />services (e.g., accounting, architectural, <br />engineering, government, insurance, investment, <br />legal, mortgage, real estate offices, etc.). Includes <br />administrative, clerical, or public contact offices <br />of a government agency, including incidental <br />storage and maintenance of vehicles. Does not <br />include financial institutions ("Financial <br />Institutions and Related Services") or medical <br />or dental services ("Offices, Medical and <br />Dental"). <br />Research and Development, Laboratory Type. A research and <br />development use for which the research and development <br />components require substantial laboratory space and/or <br />other equipment for testing or development, which may <br />also include associated adjacent or nearby workstations for <br />recording or preparing written documentation of research. <br />Typical laboratory research and development uses may <br />include, but are not limited to, biotechnical firms and <br />pharmaceutical research laboratories. <br />Research and Development, Office Type. A research and <br />development use for which the research and development <br />components primarily occur in an office setting, with <br />minimal laboratory area or research equipment, other than <br />computers and other related electronic equipment. Typical <br />office type research and development uses may include, but <br />are not limited to, computer software and computer <br />simulation firms. <br />
