the Secretary of Labor in accordance with the Davis-Bacon Act, as amended, the <br /> provisions of the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act (40 U.S.C. 327 <br /> et seq.) and all other applicable Federal, state and local laws and regulations <br /> pertaining to labor standards insofar as those acts apply to the performance of <br /> this Agreement. Contractor agrees to comply with the Copeland Anti-Kickback <br /> Act (18 U.S.C. 874 et seq.) and it's implementing regulations of the U.S. <br /> Department of Labor at 29 CFR Part 5. <br /> Contractor agrees that, pursuant to 42 USC 5310, all laborers and <br /> mechanics employed by contractors or subcontractors in the performance of <br /> construction work financed in whole or in part with assistance received from the <br /> Community Development Block Grant Funds shall be paid wages at rates not <br /> less than those prevailing on similar construction in the locality as determined by <br /> the Secretary of Labor in accordance with the Davis-Bacon Act, as amended (40 <br /> U.S.C. 276a--276a-5); provided that this section shall apply to the rehabilitation <br /> of residential property only if such property contains not less than 8 units. <br /> A paragraph shall be incorporated in every agreement between Contractor <br /> and third parties in connection to the Project stating that the third party must <br /> comply with California Labor Laws and applicable Federal requirements. <br /> Contractor shall maintain documentation that demonstrates compliance with hour <br /> and wage requirements of this part. Such documentation shall be made available <br /> to the Grantee for review upon request. <br /> 22. SECTION 3 OF THE HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT <br /> ACT OF 1986. Contractor hereby agrees that it will comply with the provisions of <br /> Section 3, the regulations set forth in 24 CFR (Code of Federal Regulations) part <br /> 135, as that section may be amended from time to time, and all applicable rules <br /> and orders of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. <br /> Contractor will, to the greatest extent feasible, prioritize making available <br /> REV:08-28-15 RL <br /> Page 10 of 15 <br /> ATTY/AGR.2015.203/Community Overcoming Relationship Abuse (CORA) <br />
