CAL 150 - Sesquicentennial Commemorative Events - 150 years of Statehood - Report by <br /> Mayor Gasparini (205) <br /> Councilman Sanfilipo suggested that since the Mayor was ill and unable to attend the <br /> meeting to present the report this item should be tabled until the next meeting. <br /> CONSENSUS: After Council discussion, Vice Mayor Hartnett determined it was the <br /> consensus of the Council to have staff prepare a Resolution in support ofCAL-150 and <br /> place it on the agenda at a future meeting. <br /> MINUTE ORDER NO. 95-086 <br /> B. Councilwoman Howard reported on the Project Read fundraiser held Saturday, April 22, <br /> 1995, at the Redwood City Library with former Mayor and Councilman Bob Bury as the <br /> master of ceremonies. Councilwoman Howard advised that it was a very exciting event <br /> with beautiful quilts at auction, and everyone was already looking forward to next year's <br /> event. <br /> MEMO 4/25/95 <br /> C. Councilwoman Howard invited everyone to participate in the annual Pride and <br /> Beautification Spring Clean-up, Saturday, April 29, 1995: Volunteers should meet at 8:30 <br /> A.M. at the Municipal Services Center, 1400 Broadway for coffee and doughnuts. Around <br /> noon, after the clean-up is over, there will be a lunch provided to all the volunteers. (205) <br /> MEMO 4/25/95 <br /> D. Councilwoman Howard invited everyone to attend the Songs of Hope on Sunday, April <br /> 30,3:00 P.M., Messiah Lutheran Church, benefiting the Emergency Hunger Fund and <br /> Shelter Network.
