Staff from
Equipment Services and Parks, Recreation and Community Services held an on-site
demonstration of the John Deere Pro-Gator utility vehicle and agreed, this unit best meets
the needs of the user department. However, due to its current age and'condition, it would not be economically sound
to invest in the continued repair of this vehicle.

Fiscal Impact
Funds for the purchase of this turf utility vehicle was approved and appropriated by the City
Council in the FY 2001/02 Equipment Replacement Fund Budget in the amount of $15,630.
The remaining balance of $3,478.29 will initially be financed from retained earnings in the
Equipment Replacement Fund. This amount will be subsequently recovered from the
operating budget of the user department through vehicle replacement charges in future
years.

Lpaurl~cc ~ol~r~sCZsuperint n~dent Peterlngram ~1~- Ed Everett
Public Works Services Director City Manager

Attachment: None
