RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN DESCRIBED <br /> CITY-OWNED PROPERTY SURPLUS AND <br /> AUTHORIZING SALE THEREOF <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City owns that certain personal property <br /> listed on Exhibit "A," attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein; <br /> and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has received evidence that such property is not <br /> needed for present or prospective municipal or public purposes, and should be <br /> declared surplus; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Assessor has appraised said property and <br /> determined that the current reasonable market value of the total of each of the <br /> surplus items to be sold as a unit is less than Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000); <br /> and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to declare said <br /> property surplus and authorize its sale in accordance with Section 3-1/2 of the <br /> Charter of the City of Redwood City; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. This Council hereby finds, determines and declares that those items <br />listed on Exhibit A are surplus; that they are no longer necessary or required for <br />municipal or public purposes; and that the appraised value of the total of each of <br />the items to be sold as a unit is less than Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000). <br /> <br />F:Atty/Reso/Reso, 1295 1 <br />040402 <br /> <br /> <br />
