1) Staff report; <br /> <br /> 2) Open public hearing; <br /> 3) Hear public comment; <br /> 4) Close public hearing; <br /> 5) Council discussion; <br /> 6) Council Action: <br /> <br /> Recommendation: <br /> Uphold the decision of the Zoning Administrator to approve the permit subject to <br /> the following seven conditions: <br /> 1. When dropping-off and picking up children, parents should be considerate to <br /> the residents of Maxwell Lane ("considerate" is further defined in the following <br /> six conditions); <br /> 2. Parents who will patronize the large family day care home should not block <br /> driveways, turn around in or park their cars on neighbors' properties; <br /> 3. Parents who will patronize the large family day care home shall obey all traffic <br /> laws; <br /> 4. Parents shall not allow their child/children to cross or play on neighbors' <br /> properties; <br /> 5. Parents shall supervise their child/children at all times when picking-up and <br /> dropping off. When crossing the street parents shall hold their <br /> child's/children's hands; <br /> 6. Noise must be kept to a minimum when picking-up and/or dropping off. <br /> Therefore, parents shall not honk their horns unnecessarily; <br /> 7. The applicant shall maintain an open communication channel with the <br /> neighbors. If requested, the applicant shall meet with the neighbors/residents <br /> of Maxwell Lane on an as-needed basis to address any concerns or <br /> complaints the neighbors may have regarding the large family day care home. <br /> <br /> 11.
