Fair Oaks Community Center Supervisor <br /> Gonzalez explained a proposal to have Child Care Coordinator Anderson's position to <br /> become a contract position with the City, and proposed a 3-month contract with CCCC <br /> and then come back to the Council for alternative proposals. <br /> B. $200,000 for Improvements for Myrtle Street Parking Lot. Community Development <br /> Director Nelson advised that there are no lands available in City parks to convert to <br /> soccer fields at this time, and costs associated with soccer fields would be $107,000 <br /> and double for that for a lighted field. Director Nelson advised that a partial <br /> improvement to the parking lot could be done for $70,000. <br /> ----- <br /> Vice Mayor Hartnett reiterated his earlier request that this money be set aside for <br /> fields and the project delayed.
