EXHIBIT "A" <br /> Scope of S�rvices <br /> Consuitant represents that it has, or will secure at its own expense, all personnel <br /> required in the performance of services under this Agreement. All of the services <br /> required hereunder wilf be performed by Consultant or under its supervision, and all <br /> personnel engaged in the work shall be fully qualif€ed to perform fhe services <br /> described herefn. Consultant shall commence, carry on, and compiete the services <br /> with all practicable dispateh. in a sound, economical, and efficisnt manner, in <br /> accordance with the provisians herein and all appiicable laws. <br /> 2014t75 Mandated Cost Claims Based on 20�13114 Actual Costs <br /> (A) Prepare cost claims for the current fiscal year pursuant to the Controller's <br /> annual claiming instructions applicabfe to fhe claims being prepared end file the <br /> claims by the deadline set by the Stafe for those claims <br /> (B) Initial reimbursemen# claims, first-time claims fiar ceimbursement of costs for one <br /> or more prior fiscal year(s) of a program that was previously unfunded, are NOT <br /> included in this contr�ct. The Consultant is ready, willing, and able to prepare <br /> such claims ance the parties mutuafly agree upon e change in scope to this <br /> cantract to cover these new claims <br /> (C) Monitor the general payment status o# all claims submitted on behalf of <br /> the Clienf pursuant to this Agreement_ <br /> (D) Assist the Client with any current fiscal year claims filed by the Consultant that <br /> are audited by the State Controller`s office. Test claims and incorrect reduction <br /> claims are not cavered under this agreement. <br /> (E) Cost claims submitted by Consultant may consist of both direct and indirect <br /> costs. . <br /> Consultant may either ut+lize the fen percent (10%) indirect cost rate allowed by <br /> the State Con#roller or calculate a higher rafe if C[ient's records support such a <br /> calculation. Consulfant is not required to prepare a central service cost <br /> allocation plan or departmental indirecf cost rate proposals far Client. <br /> F) Consultant's sole responsibifity under an audit shall be to provide reasonable <br /> assistance to the Client through the audit and to make thase changes to the wark <br /> product as required as a result of the audit.
