9.A. - Page 1 <br /> Redwood <br /> 011112,22 <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEMBER REPORT OF CONFERENCE/MEETING ATTENDANCE <br /> Name: Mayor Gee, and Council Member Howard Vendor No.: NFL Alumni Association <br /> Department: City Council Voucher No.: <br /> On September 26, 2015 we both attended the Black and White inaugural Luncheon in <br /> honor of outstanding Bay Area women. This was the first NFL Alumni Association's <br /> "Black & White Luncheon" honoring Bay Area women who have made special <br /> contributions to their communities. Two City employees, Teri Chin and Erin Niemeyer, <br /> were honored for their work in improving the lives of youth, families and adults in <br /> Redwood City. <br /> The event was held at the Hyatt Regency in Santa Clara and about 225 guests were in <br /> attendance. Sponsors of the event included the Multi-Ethnic Sports Hall of Fame, Key <br /> Point Credit Union, the Domini Hoskins Black History Museum, and the Redwood City <br /> Parks and Arts Foundation. <br /> All proceeds from the program will be donated to Caring for Kids Charities. <br /> for both <br /> October 7, 2015 <br /> The Administrative Code requires reports of conferences or meetings for which a council member requests per diem or <br /> expense reimbursement. Reports must be submitted to the City Clerk of no later than the Wednesday of the week before <br /> the next City Council meeting. Reports must be submitted before the City of Redwood City will pay per diem or <br /> reimbursement for the conference or the meeting.
