Vice Mayor Foust said she serves on the SFO roundtable and she wants to <br /> share the issue that the FAA has moved certain flight patterns five miles inland <br /> and the Santa Cruz residents have been sharing the impacts this has caused in <br /> their quality of life. She also did a ribbon cutting at Vitality Bowls on Theater Way <br /> and she shared the exciting history of this young business. She said the working <br /> team there has been recruited out of local schools. She also thanked Eric and <br /> Lori Lochfeld for starting a new community magazine Climate Best. <br /> Mayor Gee said that as it is summer there are a number of events going on and it <br /> is easy to find free events everywhere. Mayor Gee congratulated all the recent <br /> graduates and he said that June 22, 2015 will be the last meeting of Dr. Bell and <br /> he is invited to attend to thank him for his leadership and service to Redwood <br /> City. <br /> C. City Manager (Oral) Update <br /> Dr. Bell gave an update on downtown projects specifically the Powerhouse <br /> site/project and staff is continuing to work with the developer and through the Real <br /> Estate subcommittee; regarding the 601 Marshall submitted by Dostart this has <br /> gone to the Architectural Advisory Committee and some modifications were <br /> required of the developer; for 815 Hamilton by Harmony Group, there are <br /> negotiations going on but at some point the project will come before the Planning <br /> Commission and possibly the Council. He added that details on current projects <br /> submitted is available at the City's website. <br /> Mayor Gee said that these projects are in process but are not approved yet. <br /> D.
