The survey was also emailed to <br /> Redwood City Neighborhood Association chairpersons, interested parties of the <br /> Housing Element, and individuals requesting updates to the ADU process. Results <br /> of the survey will be presented at the City Council meeting. <br /> Notification of this meeting was published in the Daily News on September 25, 2015. <br /> Email notification was given to Redwood City Neighborhood Association chairpersons, <br /> interested parties of the Housing Element update, and leaders at religious institutions. <br /> Social media outlets were used including the City's eNews blast, Facebook and Twitter <br /> postings. Modify the draft ordinance to add an exception process to the homeowner <br /> residency requirement. For example, the ordinance could allow the owner <br /> to live off-site and rent both units if he/she has medical issues that require <br /> residency elsewhere or if the owner receives a job transfer outside the <br /> area. In those cases, the property owner could provide proof, and apply to <br /> the zoning administrator for an exception. If the Council wishes to <br /> incorporate an exception, the ordinance will be revised for the second <br /> reading. <br /> 2. Modify the Draft Accessory Dwelling Unit Ordinance. <br /> 3.
