These facilities <br /> normally consist of a grass buffer strip, sand bed, <br /> ponding area, organic layer or mulch layer, <br /> planting soil, and plants. <br /> The property contains Five (5) bioretention area(s), located as described below and as <br /> shown in the attached site plan 4. <br /> • Bloretention Area No. 1 is located and centered along easterly property line and adjacent to <br /> Douglas Avenue and is 4068 square feet <br /> • Bioretention Area No. 2 is located along the southerly property line and adjacent to the <br /> pedestrian vehicle parking lot and is an 1873 square foot area <br /> • Bioretention Area No. 3 is located along the westerly property line and adjacent to the <br /> pedestrian vehicle parking lot. Also along the southerly property line and adjacent to the bus <br /> parking lot and is 2600 square feet <br /> • Bioretention Area 4 is along the westerly property line and adjacent to the bus parking lot and <br /> is 921 square feet <br /> • Bioretention area 5 is along the northerly property line and adjacent to the bus parking lot and <br /> is 2468 square feet. <br /> I. Routine Maintenance Activities <br /> The principal maintenance objective is to prevent sediment buildup and clogging, which <br /> reduces pollutant removal efficiency and may lead to bioretention area failure.
