The trip distribution will be submitted to the <br /> City traffic engineer for review and approval prior to proceeding to the subsequent tasks. <br />5. Project Trip Assignment. The site-generated traffic will be assigned to the site driveways and the <br /> two aforementioned intersections based on the trip generation and distribution discussed above. The <br /> pass-by trips will be estimated based on the pass-by trip distribution. The trip assignment will be <br /> submitted to the City traffic engineer for review and approval prior to proceeding to the subsequent <br /> tasks. <br />6. Evaluation of Off-Site Vehicle Queuing. Project trips will be added to background traffic volumes <br /> and the effects of the project on vehicle queuing will be evaluated for eastbound Whipple Avenue <br /> and southbound Industrial Way to eastbound Whipple Avenue. <br />7. Evaluation of Site Access, On-Site Circulation and Parking. The site plan will be reviewed <br /> against industry design standards and with regard to traffic circulation patterns at the driveways and <br /> on site, queuing demand versus storage capacity on site, fuel truck circulation, and adequacy for <br /> accommodating convenience store delivery trucks. The evaluation will be based on project trips at <br /> the driveways and on site and will include pass-by trips. Review of revised or subsequent site plans, <br /> if requested, will be performed as an additional service. <br />8. Site Recommendations. Based on the review of site access and circulation, recommendations will <br /> be made, as needed, to ensure optimal flow of traffic on site. <br />9. Meetings. The fee estimate includes attendance at one public hearing. <br />10. Draft Report. Hexagon's findings and recommendations will be summarized in a draft report <br /> submitted for review by city staff. <br />11. Final Report. Hexagon Transportation Consultants will respond to editorial comments from city <br /> staff, prepare the final report, and submit up to six copies. Responses to comments that entail a <br /> revised analysis of conditions on- or off-site will constitute additional services. <br />12. Additional Services. Any work not specifically referenced in the above Scope of Services-for <br /> example analyzing a different project description or revised or subsequent site plan, analyzing <br /> additional intersections or scenarios, evaluating intersection levels of service, conducting <br /> intersection counts, deriving individual project trip assignments for approved developments, <br /> evaluating cumulative conditions, responding to comments other than editorial comments, or <br /> attending additional meetings-shall be considered additional services. <br />Time of Performance <br />Barring any unforeseen delays, a draft report will be submitted three weeks after receipt of authorization <br />to proceed and all data provided or required by the city. The final report will be delivered one week <br />after receipt of all review comments. Cognizant of your desired schedule, we are ready to start work <br />immediately upon authorization. <br /> .- . - <br />
