ORAL COMMUNICATIONS A. Ed Bailey, Page Street, urged passage of Proposition 173 at the November 2, 1993 election. B. Ruben Barrales, San Mateo County Supervisor, dropped by to say hello to the Councilmembers and remind them that he is always available to work with them on projects in Redwood City of mutual concern. C. Patricia Dixon, Admiralty Court, advised that a female swan died recently in Redwood Shores, and asked Council to enforce the laws, such as our "pooper scooper" law, to eliminate pollution of the waterways that endangers indigenous and migratory fowl. Also, Mrs. Dixon asked that signs be erected to remind people not to use sewer drains for refuse disposal, and asked to have the water levels raised to reduce the odor and increase water action. Mayor Buchan advised she would work with Mrs. Dixon on this matter. MEMO 10/26/93 D. Pastor Dennis Logie, President of the Clergy Association, with a membershiþ of 48 churches, invited everyone to an hour of prayer on November 21, 1993 at 4:00 P.M., at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
