Assuming a Notice to Proceed in November 2015 (which will be roughly
coincident with the release of the final DWR UWMP Guidebook) and that the data used in the
UWMP are available by January 2016, EKI would plan to complete a Draft UWMP by March
2016, which leaves the City with significant time to move through the approval process in
advance of the 1 July 2016 deadline.
As part of the kick-off meeting, EKI has assumed that we will work with the City to develop a
final project schedule. Depending upon the availability of the key information discussed in the
sections above, it may be necessary to either re-order the seguence of the workshops or alter
the content of each workshop to allow for discussions regarding available information. EKI has
developed a preliminary schedule that meets the City's goal for submitting the UWMP to DWR
by 11u1y 2016. Project milestones include the following:
Notice to
Proceed Submittal to
November Workshop#2 DWR
2015 March 2016 July 2016
m - .
. .'
Workshop#1 Public
February Hearing/
2016 Adoption by
the City
Cauncillune
2016
The schedule presented herein assumes timely review of draft submittals by the City and other
key stakeholders. EKI will closely monitor the schedule during the project, and seek to
proactively identify any major hurdles that could significantly impact the schedule.
Page 26
..._ ..- _a._...._...__----..___,___..__.,._.. __._. _. _.__ _
Redwood Gty Public Works Services Department 2015 UWMP (EKl 85-078)
ATTY/AGR.2015.248/EKI -Development of 2015 Urban Water Managemet Plan
