Fox Theatre Task Force Report (1307-01) <br /> REPORT: Chairperson, Fox Theatre Task Force, February 28, 1994 <br /> Chairperson La Berge presented the report and summarized the goals ofthe Task Force: <br /> 1. Pursue physical improvements to the Fox for historic preservation and to allow for <br /> increased and different kinds of activities; <br /> 2. Pursue ideas for increased cultural activity at the Fox; <br /> 3. Pursue increased community involvement in support of the above; <br /> 4. Maintain existing level of subsidy to Peninsula Center Stage for performances and <br /> Cultural Commission Grant Program. <br /> Corinne Centeno, Assistant to the City Manager and advisor to the Task Force advised that <br /> each ofthe five (5) recommendations of the report would be discussed first by the members, <br /> the public, and then the Council. After a full and complete discussion, the Task Force <br /> recommended that the Council take action on each of the five (5) recommendations <br /> separately.
