Proclamation declaring March 20-26, 1994, Mediation Week in Redwood City; (301-04) Mayor Buchan presented the proclamation to Pat Brown, President of the Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center. B. Fox Theatre Task Force Report (1307-01) REPORT: Chairperson, Fox Theatre Task Force, February 28, 1994 Chairperson La Berge presented the report and summarized the goals ofthe Task Force: 1. Pursue physical improvements to the Fox for historic preservation and to allow for increased and different kinds of activities; 2. Pursue ideas for increased cultural activity at the Fox; 3. Pursue increased community involvement in support of the above; 4. Maintain existing level of subsidy to Peninsula Center Stage for performances and Cultural Commission Grant Program. Corinne Centeno, Assistant to the City Manager and advisor to the Task Force advised that each ofthe five (5) recommendations of the report would be discussed first by the members, the public, and then the Council. After a full and complete discussion, the Task Force recommended that the Council take action on each of the five (5) recommendations separately.
