ORAL COMMUNICATIONS <br /> A. Joe Steinfeld, 850 Main Street, Redwood City stated he had informed Bank of America and Great <br /> Western Bank that he would be attending their stockholders meetings, and spoke about "guilt by <br /> matrimony." <br /> B. Richard L. Silver, 824 Winslow Street, Redwood City, invited everyone to attend the Friends of <br /> the Library annual Book Sale fundraiser, April 8, 9 and 10. <br /> C. Catherine Short, P. 0, Box 2107, Napa, California, Life Legal Defense Foundation, advised <br /> Council that the 9th Circuit Court found a Phoenix "bubble ordinance", similar to Redwood City's <br /> ordinance, unconstitutionaL Ms. Short described current activities near the Planned Parenthood in <br /> Redwood City and certain police actions, <br /> , In response to Council questions, City Attorney Schricker advised he would need time to study <br /> the ordinance and Court decision before commenting on it; and advised that allegations as to <br /> motives or intentions of police officers must be weighed against the position which the speaker <br /> advocates. <br /> MINUTE BOOK NO. 52 <br /> Page No. 185 <br /> ~ -,'.
