ADJOURNMENT — 8:52 p.m. <br />Vice Mayor Pierce requested adjournment in memory of Clarice B. Meredith, who <br />after being concerned with a speed hump in front of her home, became actively <br />involved exhibiting patience and calmness. She worked tirelessly in her <br />neighborhood, a sweet and giving woman, who will be missed by her family and <br />friends. <br />Council Member Hartnett requested adjournment in memory of Walt Small, a longtime <br />member of the community, a former Port Commissioner, a Downtown businessperson <br />who cared tremendously about Redwood City. He was a member of the World War II <br />generation serving as a tail gunner and a great community member whose presence <br />will be missed. <br />M/S Foust/Howard to adjourn until the next Special City Council meeting of June 21, <br />2004 at 6:00 p.m. The motion passed by a unanimous voice vote. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Patricia S.
