DES : lt : l/ lU/ i4 <br /> " , R E S O L U T I O N N O . 711(111. <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO ACCEPT GRANTS OR <br /> DEEDS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY , AND <br /> RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO . 7030 <br /> WHEREAS , Section 27281 of the Government Code of the State of <br /> California requires that deeds or grants conveying an interest in real <br /> property to political corporations must be accepted by the grantees prior <br /> to being recorded ; and <br /> WHEREAS , said Section 27281 provides a method whereby an officer or <br /> agent may be designated by the political corporation to accept such deeds <br /> on its behalf ; <br /> NOW , THEREFORE ; <br /> DE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY , AS FOLLOWS : <br /> 1 . That Jacqueline C . Hildebrand , City Clerk of the City of Redwood <br /> City , be and she hereby is authorized to accept , on behalf of the City of <br /> Redwood City , all deeds or grants conveying an interest in or easement <br /> upon real estate to the City of Redwood City . <br /> 2 .
