Numerous discussions with developers and investors interested in <br /> opportunities for both housing and mixed-use projects in the downtown. <br /> 10. Continuation of work with the downtown business group and the County <br /> Historical Museum to support special events and the marketing and <br /> promotion of downtown; including the initiation of a feasibility analysis for a <br /> property-based improvement district (PBID). <br /> FY 2004/05 Work ProQram <br /> The work program and goals for FY 2004/05 will continue the progress made in FY <br /> 2003/04. They include: <br /> 1. Complete the Jefferson Street underground parking facility and retail/cinema <br /> project (completion August 2005). <br /> 2. Streetscape improvements around retail/cinema site. <br /> 3. Completion of Theater Way improvements between Broadway and Winslow <br /> and Broadway streetscape improvements between Theater Way and <br /> Hamilton. <br /> 4. Demolish Broadway annex and complete foundation and base for the <br /> courthouse portico restoration; begin application of FRP for courthouse <br /> façade restoration. <br /> 5. Complete courthouse plaza design and construction documents; begin <br /> construction process. <br /> 6. Complete and adopt the downtown precise plan as the land use document to <br /> regulate and guide future development in the downtown. <br /> 7. Continue the process for City Council and Agency Board consideration of the <br /> assembly of Block 2 and design and install parking control equipment that <br /> links the Jefferson Street garage, Marshall Street garage and Block 2 surface <br /> parking to expand downtown public parking resources. <br /> 8. Complete asphalt overlay of Jefferson and Middlefield. <br /> 9. Install new signals at Jefferson/Broadway and Veterans/Middlefield <br /> intersections. <br /> 10. Complete process for name change of Middlefield to Theater Way between <br /> Veterans and Winslow. <br /> 11. Complete design and begin installation of downtown gateway and directional <br /> signage program. <br /> 12.
