WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS A Patricia Brown, Member of the South County Coalition Leadership Group for the prevention of substance abuse introduced Beth Ross, Community Organizer of the South County Coalition who presented measures to reduce the risk of alcohol related incidents at community events. (301-07) The South County Coalition recommended that the City Council direct the Police Department to review the broad range of options implemented by other cities', city staff to implement measures; and, the City Council to develop a public input element for reviewing future community event permits.
