BUDGET <br /> REPORT: Capital Improvement Projects Proposed Budget Fiscal Year 1994/95 <br /> Community Development Director Nelson presented the staff report and described the <br /> components ofthe $34,230,000 proposed Fiscal Year 1994/95 Budget: <br /> 1) Civic Facilities Funds, $13,162,000 <br /> 2) General Improvement District 1-64 Projects, $5,516,000 <br /> 3) Transportation Projects, <br /> Gas Tax, $1,092,000 <br /> Measure A, $1,390,00 <br /> Grants, $8,665,000 <br /> 4) Capital Project Funds, $1,706,000 <br /> 5) Community Development Block Grant, $299,000 <br /> 6) Enterprise Fund Projects, $2,400,000 <br /> Council Members discussed the new City Hall, storm drain grates and bicycle safety, bridge <br /> rehabilitation projects, and gas tax reconstruction. <br /> In response to Council questions, City Manager Everett described plans to meet with the City of <br /> Belmont, the City of San Carlos, Redwood Shores Properties and other developers to discuss <br /> funding mechanisms for GID 1-64 projects. <br /> Councilman Greenalch asked why $400,000 was transferred from the Water and Sewer Fund to <br /> the Municipal Services Center remodeling project.
