EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> • Conduct classification, compensation, and organization structure studies to <br /> support the efficient and effective administration of City business. <br /> • Conduct recruitments for senior level positions. <br /> • Lead development of Stanford executive training. <br /> • Conduct compaction analysis and propose strategies to address compaction <br /> issues in Police classifications. <br /> • Develop recruitment and compensation strategies related to varied pension <br /> formulas. <br /> Terms: <br /> • Consultant shall work a minimum of 30 hours per week for the first 2-4 weeks <br /> and 15-30 hours after that—which can be changed by mutual agreement. <br /> Consultant shall be available to interact with City staff as needed during normal <br /> work hours and evening meetings as required. <br /> • Consultant's services will be billed on an hourly rate of$125.00 per hour. <br /> • Consultant will provide an invoice at the end of every calendar month. <br /> • The City will pay Consultant's invoice within 30 days of submission. <br /> • Mileage to attend required meeting will be billed at .54 cents per mile.
