Key JPA Elements <br /> <br /> •Purpose: Will focus solely on CCE and energy related programs <br /> <br />•Membership: Cities can join County as full members <br /> <br />•Representation: One Board seat per city (one elected, one <br />alternate), two County seats <br /> <br />•Voting: Majority vote with option for weighted vote; <br />supermajority for amendments to JPA agreement <br /> <br />•Withdrawal: <br />•Cities may withdraw prior to launch if economic/ <br />environmental goals don’t meet certain thresholds <br />•Member may withdraw their municipal accounts at any time <br />•If all accounts within a city are removed, there will be costs <br />associated with stranded power under contract <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
