EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> For Redwood City, CA <br /> Jurisdictional Annex to the San Mateo County Hazard mitigation Plan-Update <br /> Tetra Tech, Ina (CONSULTANT) will provide support and planning services to Redwood City, CA <br /> (CITY) in the development of a jurisdictional annex to the San Mateo County Hazard Mitigation Plan- <br /> upd�ate (Plan). The wark tasks identified in this scope of work are to be co�pleted between October 15, <br /> 2015 and June 30, 20I6, pending extensions autharized by the City. Technical consulting services <br /> included in the scope of work below are intended to provide assistance to the CITY in the development of <br /> a jurisdictional annex to the San Mateo Hazard Mitigation Plan and ensure that the end product is a <br /> California Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) and Federal Emergency Management Agency <br /> (FEMA)approved plan. <br /> All elements of the following scope of work are based upon the creation of a function annex to the San <br /> Mateo County Hazard Mitigation Plan. Redwood City is a planning partner in the update of the San <br /> Mateo County Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan and has fully committed to meeting the planning partner <br /> expectations for that process with the submittal of its "letter of intent to participate" submitted to San <br /> Mateo County on December 7, 2015. The planning process and body of the San Mateo County plan <br /> (volume 1) will become functional components of the CTTY's plan upon completion. The following scope <br /> of work will only address those elements that CONSULTANT will perform above and beyond those <br /> elements CONSULTANT is performing under its contract with San Mateo County (COiINTY). The <br /> estimated hours to complete each task below are reflected on the attached "Estimate of Professional <br /> Services"document. <br /> SCOPE AND DELIVERY OF WORK: The wark to be completed and provided by the CONSULTANT <br /> is described in the following paragraphs. Deliverables must be presented to and approved by the CITY <br /> Project Manager and Steering Committee (see Phase 1 below). The following phases will be completed <br /> by the CONSULTANT, in conjunction with the planning partners and Steering Committee: <br /> Phase 1: ORGANIZE AND REVIEW <br /> Under this phase, the CONSULTANT will facilitate the plan update process. This will include <br /> organization and facilitation of a multi-stakeholder Steering Committee that will oversee the San Mateo <br /> County Plan update. Redwood City has appointed a staff inember to participate on this committee as a <br /> planning partner. The tasks to be completed under this phase and the specified deliverables are described <br /> as follows: <br /> Task IA- OrQanize Steering Committee: Under this task, CONSULTANT, with guidance from the <br /> County's Project Manager, will approach/contact candidates to participate on the Steering Comrruttee. <br /> These candidates will include: planning partners, residents, state agencies, academia, tribes, and other <br /> stakeholders within the planning area. <br /> ATTY/AGR/2015.279/TETRA TECH,INC. <br /> REV:01-15-16 VR <br /> Page 9 of 13 <br />
